About WrapColor

WrapColor is a free 3D visualizer for wraps, paint protection film (PPF) and window tint on the Tesla Cybertruck and Model Y, the BMW M2, M3, M4 and M5, a pontoon boat and a golf cart, or on a photo of your own car. Try any of 1,338 official film colors in studio, sun, sunset or night light, then see what a job typically costs before you talk to a shop. You don’t need an account.

The truck

The 3D Cybertruck is built in code, not bought or downloaded. Its shape follows Tesla’s published dimensions and the line drawings in Tesla’s Cybertruck rescue sheet for first responders. The brushed stainless has its own reflection model, and the sun, sunset and night modes light the truck with real HDR panoramas from Poly Haven.

You can open the doors, windows, frunk, vault and tailgate, fit the aero wheel covers, wrap single panels or a two-tone split, tint each window and outline a PPF package.

The other vehicles

The Tesla Model Y and the BMW M2, M3, M4 and M5 are adapted from third-party 3D models: split where shops cut film, fitted to the makers’ published dimensions, and stripped of maker badges. Their film estimates come from each panel’s measured area, and their price estimates from what shops publish for each model. No shop publishes prices for the M5, so its estimates are the M3’s and M4’s plus 10% for its larger body.

The pontoon boat is our own model of a three-log boat in the 22 to 24 foot class, and the golf cart is a lifted four-seater the size of a Club Car Onward 4; neither carries a maker’s badges. Their guides, boat wraps and golf cart wraps, say where each price comes from. For any other car, use a photo of it: WrapColor finds the paint in your browser and shows the film on it. The photo is not uploaded.

The colors

The 1,338 colors are vinyl and colored PPF films from 11 makers: 3M, Avery Dennison, ORAFOL, KPMF, HEXIS, Inozetek, TeckWrap, XPEL, STEK, TMaxx and PURE. Names and codes are written exactly as each maker publishes them, taken from the makers’ own color charts, product pages and swatch images. Where a maker publishes color values, they are used; the rest were sampled from the maker’s own swatch images and charts.

Screens, lighting and film batches all differ, so the colors on screen are approximations. Always look at a physical sample of the film before you decide. Browse every color.

The prices

Prices are typical ranges, not quotes. They summarize prices published by US shops and by Tesla, researched in October 2026, and change with your area, the film and the shop. The cost guide explains how they are worked out.

Quotes from installers

When you ask for a quote, WrapColor passes your build and contact details to one independent installer near your ZIP code, who may contact you about a quote. We don’t sell your details to a list of shops. The privacy page says exactly what is sent and how long it’s kept.

For shops

Tint, PPF and wrap shops can put this visualizer on their own website for free, with their logo and accent color. Quote requests from it go straight to the shop, never to another one. It’s the first part of Peel, the software we’re building for shops. See Peel for shops.

Independent

WrapColor is an independent site, not affiliated with or endorsed by Tesla, Inc. or BMW AG. Tesla, Cybertruck and Model Y are trademarks of Tesla, Inc.; BMW, M2, M3, M4 and M5 are trademarks of BMW AG; film names are trademarks of their owners. They are used only to identify the vehicles and products.

There are no ads or paid placements on the site. Popular picks come from what Cybertruck shops and owners show in galleries, build pages and forum threads, not from payments or sales figures.
