Pickup truck wrap prices

The typical price is the middle half of the shops’ published prices for that job, with their median and the number of shops behind it. Prices are for gloss, satin or matte film, before tax, rounded to the nearest dollar and checked on October 20, 2026. Most shops publish one hood, roof or chrome delete price for every vehicle, so those rows are close to a car’s.

What each shop charges for a truck

18 of the shops publish a full-wrap price that names a pickup. 9 of them put trucks on one line with other vehicles, like “SUV / truck”. The lowest is $2,400 at Midnight Customs FL in Jacksonville, FL and the highest $5,800 at Shell Shocked Wraps in Wylie, TX. Many are “starting at” prices, so a crew cab, a long bed or a lot of trim can cost more.

Truck vs car, SUV and van

A truck has more panel area than a car, so it costs more. The median full wrap for each vehicle type, from the same 43 price lists:

  • Compact car or coupe: $3,200 (33 shops)
  • Sedan: $3,200 (39 shops)
  • SUV or crossover: $3,500 (19 shops)
  • Pickup truck: $4,000 (18 shops)
  • Large SUV or van: $4,000 (10 shops)

Chicago Fleet Wraps prices by film area: “Pickup truck 260–320 sqft $4,050–$4,900”, beside $3,400–$4,200 for a sedan or coupe and $3,800–$4,700 for an SUV or crossover.

Half-ton vs heavy-duty trucks

One shop in the sample splits half-ton from heavy-duty pickups. Shell Shocked Wraps lists $3,500–$5,000 for a half-ton pickup and $4,000–$5,800 for a three-quarter or one-ton, in gloss or basic matte. A half-ton is an F-150, Silverado 1500 or Ram 1500 class truck. Others price trucks by size with SUVs: All'en Cars Car Consultants charges $3,500 for a small SUV or truck and $4,000 for a large one.

Partial truck wraps

A partial wrap covers some panels in a second color, often black. Most shops charge one hood, roof or chrome delete price for any vehicle: a hood wrap typically costs $275 to $450 (median $350), a roof wrap $300 to $450 and a chrome delete, black film over the chrome trim, $500 to $900. All'en Cars Car Consultants lists “Truck Hood Wraps” at $300, and Slick Finish Detailing a chrome delete on a 2-row SUV or truck at $600–$900.

Bigger partial jobs are priced one by one. Galaxi Sound lists $1,000–$2,400 for a partial wrap (hood, roof and mirrors) on an SUV or truck. See two-tone layouts in 3D on the Cybertruck two-tone page.

Chrome, color-shift and door jambs

The prices above are for gloss, satin or matte film. Special films cost more: Galaxi Sound lists $3,500–$5,500 for a standard color change on an SUV or truck and $5,500–$8,000 for chrome, satin metallic or color-shift film.

A full-wrap price covers the outside, so the old color shows when a door opens. Midnight Customs FL lists door jambs on a pickup at $555. Ask whether the bed rails, the tailgate’s inside and the bumpers are in the quote.

Business lettering and fleet graphics

These are color-change prices. A printed wrap with a logo, lettering or a design adds design and print costs, and shops quote it job by job, so it isn’t in this sample. Ask a sign or fleet graphics shop for that.

See the color on your truck first

A truck wrap is a few thousand dollars, so see the color before you book. Try films on a photo of your own truck: it’s free, and the photo stays in your browser. The Cybertruck in 3D shows any of the films on a pickup you can turn and light, and the Cybertruck wrap cost guide prices that truck on its own. Type a quote you got into the car wrap cost calculator to see where it falls. When you’ve chosen, ask a local shop for a quote.

How these prices are made

WrapColor read the price lists that 43 wrap shops in 29 US metros publish on their own websites and recorded each price with its page and the date it was checked. This is a sample of shops that post prices, not a survey of every shop. Nothing is estimated: a typical range is the middle half of the published prices, the median is the middle one, and every number shown is a price some shop publishes. “From” and “starting at” prices count as published. Only color-change wraps count: no printed graphics, no paint protection film and no sale prices.

A truck’s full-wrap row uses the lines that name a pickup, including “SUV / truck” lines. A hood, roof or chrome delete price that names no vehicle counts for every vehicle. The whole study, with every vehicle type, is on the car wrap cost page.
